I~rHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-74 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE AIR QUALITY <br />D~0RT OF PLEASANTON WATER QUALITY CONTROL <br />pROGRAM ALTERNATIVES 2(b) and 5(b). <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has Sub- <br />mitted a request to the State Water Resources Control~ <br /> <br />Board for funding of facilities related to waste <br />water treatment; and <br />the two most viable projects which have been estab- <br />lished pursuant to state guidelines are alternatives <br />2(b) (consolidation with Valley Community Services <br />District) and 5(b) (Construction of new City of <br /> <br />Pleasantonplant); and <br /> <br />Section VII D(6) of the Water Resources Control <br />Board Draft Project Report Guidelines (aS modified <br />on December 26, 1973) requires consideration by the <br />City Council of the air quality impact of proposed <br />projects in areas deemed to be critical air hasins; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has re- <br />viewed available air quality data and projections of <br />future air quality for the above projects (based on <br />an August 19741 air quality section to the prelimin- <br />ary draft environmental report prepared by Pacific <br />Environmental laboratory); and <br /> <br />based on the above information the City Council has <br />made an assessment of the possible impact of its <br />proposed project on the attainment and maintenance of <br />air qualit~ standards; and <br /> <br /> <br />
