WHEREAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS: <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br />two years after commencement Of said program by <br />County within the City of Pleasanton; and <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-209 <br /> <br />RE: REQUEST FOR PARTICIPATION IN ALAMEDA <br /> COUNTY SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE <br /> PROGRAM. <br /> <br />The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of <br />the City of Pleasanton did, on September 18, 1975, by <br />Resolution no. 334, request the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton to approve by resolution directed <br />to the Housing Authority of the County of Alameda <br />participation in the County Housing Assistance Program <br />as described under Section 8 of the Housing and <br />Community Development Act of 1974; and <br /> <br />Said Resolution No. 334 of the Housing Authority of <br />the City of Pleasanton recommended that the approval <br />be for a maximum of thirty (30) existing rental units <br />located within the boundaries of the City of Pleasanton <br />to be operated and managed pursuant to agreement between <br />the County Housing Authority and the City Housing Autho- <br />rity, and further, that City approval be conditioned upon <br />a review of the need and performance of said program <br /> <br /> the <br /> <br />That participation by the City of Pleasanton and the <br />Housing Authority of the City of Pleasanton in the <br />Alameda County Housing Assistance Program under Section 8 <br />of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, <br />is a desirable first step in attempting to supplement <br />existing forms of low income housing. <br /> <br />C,T'~' CLE/FK'5 CoFF <br /> <br /> <br />
