~E~AS, <br /> <br />~'~{E REAS, <br /> <br />WHEPEAS, <br /> <br />WHEKEAS , <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-234 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />WITH BROI~ AND CALDWELL <br /> <br />the 1972 settlement agreement requires the City to <br />meter all sewer lines entering the V.C.S.D. plant; <br />and <br />the Highland Oaks sewer line was installed in 1965 <br />and a meter added in 1966; and <br />that meter has failed to measure flows and has been <br />removed; and <br />the staffs of the City and V.C.S.D. have met with the <br />firm of Brown and Caldwell to outline a proposed <br />scope of work required to replace the meter; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON %ESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The mayor is authorized to execute an agreement with <br /> Broom and Caldwell to prepare final design plans and <br /> specifications and final cost estimates on Highland <br /> Oaks sewer meter and flushing system. <br /> <br />Section 2.
