CITY OF PLEASINTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-228 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUESTING COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR TO <br /> REMOVE ITEMS FROM OCTOBER 16, 1975 TAX SALE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Alameda Tax Collector has given the City of <br /> Pleasanton Notice of proposed auction sale to be conducted <br /> on October 16, 1975; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there are two parcels subject to said sale, items num- <br /> bered 121 and 122 on the County notice, which are burdened <br /> with delinquent assessments of the Pleasanton Township <br /> County Water District No. 1, Series 1963-1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears to the City Manager of the City of Pleasanton <br /> that a clerical error was made on the proposed auction <br /> Resolution #162787 passed by the Alameda County Board of <br /> Supervisors and as a result sale Item No. 122 is being <br /> offered for a minimum sale price substantially lower than <br /> the deficient assessment and sale Item No. 121 is being <br /> offered at a sale price substantially higher than the <br /> deficient assessment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is obligated to pay the bonds of <br /> <br /> the Pleasanton Township County Water District No. 1; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVE <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Tax Collector of the County of Alameda be <br /> requested to remove items numbered 121 and 122 from the <br /> proposed auction sale in order to investigate the proper <br /> delinquent assessments and set appropriate minimum prices <br /> for a future tax sale. <br /> <br />Section 2.
