CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-256 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION CONSENTING TO CONSOLIDATION OF <br /> MARCH 2, 1976 WITH MURRAY SCHOOL DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City of Pleasanton has ordered a General Muni- <br /> cipal Election to be held March 2, 1976; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Murray School District has ordered a Bond <br />Election and an election to fill a vacancy on the Governing <br />Board of the Murray School on March 2, 1976; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a portion of the Murray School District lies <br />within the jurisdiction of the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Murray School District, pursuant to Sections <br />1333-1336 of the Education Code of the State of California, has <br />requested the County Superintendent of Schools of Alameda County <br />to consolidate said Murray School District Bond and Governing <br />Board Member Election with the Pleasanton General Municipal <br />Election for that area of the Murray School District within <br />the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, written approval of consent of the City of <br />Pleasanton is necessary for said consolidation to take place. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City of Pleasanton hereby consents to the <br />consolidation of the March 2, 1976 Election as requested by <br />Murray School District. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This resolution shall become effective imme- <br />diately upon passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
