CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 75-251 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION REGARDING CHARGES AT THE PLEASANTON <br /> GARBAGE TRANSFER STATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council requested the City Manager to <br />review the rates to be charged at the Transfer Station in order <br />to determine whether a larger dump rate should be collected in <br />order to generate a revenue surplus to off-set any additional <br />increases in service by Pleasanton Garbage Service; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS; the City Council also authorized the City Manager <br />to review the procedures to be instituted by the garbage fran- <br />chisee at the proposed Transfer Station; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by report of November 19, 1975, the City Manager <br /> <br /> City Council; <br /> <br />analyzed the items requested to be reviewed by the <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager recommended that: <br /> <br /> 1. The dump rates not be increased at this time. <br /> <br /> 2. The use of pre-numbered receipts for cash control <br /> purposes be approved. <br /> <br /> 3. The revised dump rate schedule be approved; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of November 24, <br />1975, considered the recommendations of the City Manager. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The present dump rate charges (currently 65¢ <br />minimum, and $1.25 per cubic yard) shall not be increased in <br />order to generate a revenue surplus. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The City Council approves ~he use of pre-numbered <br />cash receipts to every patron in order to regulate the amount <br />of revenue being collected at the Transfer Station. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
