WHEREAS, <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />~IHEREAS, <br /> <br />NOW, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75-248 <br /> <br />APPROVING AGREEMENTS WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY AGRICULTURAL <br />FAIR ASSOCIATION FOR OPERATION OF TENNIS COURTS AT <br />THE YOUNG CALIFORNIA BUILDING <br /> <br /> the Alameda County Fair Board has caused a new building <br /> to be constructed known as the Young California Building; <br /> and <br /> said building was intended to be used for a tennis prograr <br /> with four tennis courts inside said building; and <br /> subsequent to attempts to obtain a private entrepreneur <br /> to run the facility, consideration was given to a proposal <br /> that the City of Pleasanton thru its recreation program <br /> lease the facility for recreational tennis purposes; and <br /> at its meeting of November 24, 1975, the City Council <br /> considered the report dated November 20, 1975 to the <br /> City Council from the Recreation Superintendent, a report <br /> of November 18, 1975 to the Park and Recreation Cornmission <br /> from the Recreation Superintendent, an interim one month <br /> agreement of understanding attached to a letter dated <br /> November 17, 1975 from Mr. Lee Hall, Secretary-Manager of <br /> the Alameda County Fair Association, to Mr. Robert <br /> Caporusso, Recreation Superintendent for City of Pleasanto~ <br /> and a lease agreement consisting of 10 pages with Exhibit <br /> A which provides for a lease of the facility from January l, <br /> 1976 thru and including May 1, 1976; and <br /> after careful consideration of the aforementioned documents <br /> as well as verbal reports at the Council meeting by <br /> Alameda County Fair Association representatives and by the <br /> Recreation Department, the City Council adopted the fol- <br /> lowing action: <br /> <br />THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON HEREBY <br /> <br /> <br />
