- CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF ~0~ <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING DISTRIBUTION OF <br />SURPLUS RE ASSESSMENT NO. 32, ASSESSMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. 1, PLEASANTON TOWNSHIP COUNTY <br />WATER DISTRICT, ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Township County Water District <br /> <br />has heretofore established its Assessment District No. 1 and has <br />levied an assessment designated as Assessment No. 32 against certain <br />property within said assessment district in the amount of <br />$55,000.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all of the work benefiting the said parcel <br /> <br />was not done and an amount representing the uncompleted work was <br />placed in trust to the account of Edwin W. and Esther C. Carter, <br />at that time the owners of said parcel; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Pleasanton Township County Water District <br /> <br />has been dissolved and the City of Pleasanton, as successor to <br />said District, presently holds in trust the amount of $33,057.38; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, no further work in Assessment District No. 1 <br />benefiting the said parcel has been done or is contemplated, and <br />said parcel has been transferred to other owners, <br /> <br /> NOW, TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council <br /> <br />of the City of Pleasanton that the City Treasurer is hereby authorized <br />and directed to disburse the amount of said trust fund to current <br />and former owners of the parcel represented by Assessment No. 32 <br />as their respective interests may appear, on the condition that <br />the payees waive any further claim against the City of Pleasanton <br />as a result of improvements completed, improvements not completed <br />or amounts assessed in Assessment District No. 1 of Pleasanton <br />Township County Water District; and that, in the absence of such <br /> <br /> <br />
