WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-5 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT OF THE CONTRACT <br />BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA AND THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT UNDER THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT TRAINING ACT (CETA), TITLE VI <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton and County of Alameda, on <br /> <br />January 13, 1975, entered into a contract providing <br />for a program of Public Service Employment (PSE) under <br />CETA, Title VI; and <br />it is necessary for the City and County to amend said <br />contract in order to provide the City of Pleasanton with <br />an additional TWENTY THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR <br />AND no/100ths DOLLARS ($20,384.00) in CETA funds to <br />continue the employment of CETA personnel through <br /> <br />June, 1976. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes execution by the Mayor of an amendment to <br /> the CETA, Title VI contract dated January 13, 1975, be- <br /> tween the City of Pleasanton and the County of Alameda <br /> in order to provide the City of Pleasanton with an ad- <br /> ditional TWENTY THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR AND <br /> no/100ths DOLLARS ($20,384.00) in CETA funds to continue <br /> <br />the employment of CETA personnel through June, 1976. <br />Section 2.
