~EREAS, <br /> <br />~EREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-3 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR AN ASSOCIATED <br />CO~UNITY ACTION PROGRAM (ACAP) GRANT TO FUND AN ON- <br />GOING RECREATION PROGRAM WITHIN KOMANDORSKI VILLAGE <br />SERVICE AREA <br /> <br /> the Associated Community Action Program (ACAP) for <br /> Alameda County has certain grant money available to <br /> fund recreational programs for economically deprived <br /> youth; and <br /> the Recreation Department of the City of Pleasanton <br /> wishes to apply for an Associated Community Action <br /> Program (ACAP) grant of $4,899.00, to fund an ongoing <br /> weekly recreation program for 120 economically dis- <br /> advantaged youth living within the Komandorski Village <br /> service area; and <br /> it is necessary for the City Council to grant author- <br /> ization for applying for said grant; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section t. Authorizes the filing of a formal application by the <br /> City of Pleasanton with the Associated Community <br /> Action Program (ACAP) for Alameda County a grant <br /> request for $4,899.00, to fund an ongoing weekly youth <br /> living within Pleasanton Komandorski Village service <br /> area. <br />Section 2.
