CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-60 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CO-SPONSORSHIP OF THE <br />PLEASANTON BICENTENNIAL COMMUNITY BAND <br />WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission has reviewed and <br />recommends approval of an application from the Plea <br />Bicentennial Festival Committee for co-sponsorship statu <br />for the Bicentennial Community Band; and <br />WHEREAS, This request for co-sponsorship involves mainly facility <br />usage and official City recognition for the Community <br />Band so that it could continue after the Bicentennial <br />Commission is dissolved; and <br />WHEREAS, this request does not invove any direct use of City <br />funds; and <br />WHEREAS, this program provides the citizens of Pleasanton an op- <br />portunity to participate in a supervised cultural recrea <br />tion program. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RE- <br />COLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approves the co-sponsorship of the Pleasanton Bi- <br />centennial Community Band, said co-sponsorship involves <br />facility usage and does not involve direct use of City <br />funds. <br />Section 2.
