CITY OF PLEASANTOII <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-47 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING LIVERMORE-Ai4ADOR VALLEY WATEP. <br />MANAGEMENT AGENCY FLOW PROJECTIONS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton belongs to the Livermore-Amador <br />Valley Water Management Agency which is charged with the <br />responsibility of disposing of effluent in the Livermore- <br />Amador Valley; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to its responsibilities the Livermore-Amador <br />Valley Water Management Agency has contracted with <br />Carollo Engineers to study alternative means of disposin <br />of sewage effluent from Livermore, Pleasanton and Valley <br />Community Services District; and <br />WHEREAS, a feasible project is the construction of a pipeline <br />which would transport sewage from Livermore-Amador Valle <br />to East Bay Dischargers Authority; and <br />WHEREAS, an environmental impact statement is being prepared with <br />respect to the proposed project but it is necessary for <br />the three agencies to indicate, for purposes of the envi- <br />ronmental impact statement, projected needs for future <br />sewage effluent in order that the exact sizing of the <br />pipe can be determined; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting, of February 23, 1976, <br />received a report from the Assistant City Manager to <br />which was attached a letter from Mr. Daniel F. Murphy, <br />Project Director for LAVG7hiA, together with a table of <br />population projections and flow projections for LAVWi",A; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council was advised that the table relating to <br />flow projections includes an ultimate flow projection <br />for beyond the 20-year funding; period for the proposed <br />project which would allow the City of Pleasanton to accom <br />modate an ultimate holding capacity of 75,000 persons, <br />
