CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-67 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT <br />FOR BAY AREA SYSTEMS EXERCISE, 1976 <br />WHEREAS, the California Office of Emergency Services (OES) <br />or Region 7, Defence Civil Preparedness Agency <br />(DCPA) desires to conduct a Bay Area earthquake <br />simulation exercise; and <br />WHEREAS, the aforementioned agencies desire to contract with <br />cities participating in said exercise in order to <br />delineate what activities will be conducted by the <br />City and what persons will be responsible for co- <br />ordinating the activities of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, said exercise and contract were explained to the City <br />Council at its meeting of March 22, 1976; <br />SNOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />(RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />(Section 1 <br />(Section 2 <br />Authorizes execution by the mayor of an agreement for <br />Bay Area Systems Exercise, 1976. <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage an <br />DATED: March 22, 1976 <br />(ATTEST: <br /> <br />~~~~q... ..,.bay, ~~~~ .. <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />~~ <br />~~Approved as to Form: <br />
