CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-117 <br />RE: REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION <br />OF A TOT LOT AND PICNIC AREAS AT VAL VISTA PARK. <br />TO PACIFIC LANDSCAPE, INC. <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for the <br />Construction of a Tot Lot and Picnic Area at Val Vista <br />Park; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code #37900, et seq., the City <br />Engineering Services Department advertised for bids <br />regarding this project; and <br />REAS, the bid of Pacific Landscape was the lowest responsible <br />bid; <br />THEREFORE; THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />OLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The bid of Pacific Landscape, Inc., 180 Thorup Lane, San <br />Ramon, in the amount of $17,347.00 for the construction <br />of the Tot Lot and Picnic areas, excluding play equip- <br />ment, is hereby accepted by City Council as the lowest <br />responsible bid. <br />2. The City is authorized to enter into a contract with <br />Pacific Landscape, Inc. for the improvements specified <br />above. <br />3.
