' CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-157 <br />A RESOLUTION SUSTAINING THE APPEAL OF KAY MARTIN AND <br />CHARLOTTE WITKE OF A PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION <br />APPROVING UP-76-13 <br />WHEREAS, a conditional use permit was applied for by Chris <br />Beratlis to allow the construction and use of a parking <br />lot on a site located west of the rear of residences on <br />Longspur way, south of the Pleasanton Canal and north of <br />Valley Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this <br />conditional use permit application at its meeting of <br />May 12, 1976; and <br />WHEREAS, at the close of said public hearing, and after reviewing <br />staff reports, site plan, and hearing public testimony, <br />the Planning Commission approved the application of <br />Chris Beratlis for UP-76-12 subject to certain conditio <br />as set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No.1413; <br />WHEREAS, Kay Martin and Charlotte Witke appealed the decision of <br />the Planning Commission to the City Council at their <br />meeting of June 28, 1976; and <br />[•WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of June 28, 1976, con- <br />side red said appeal by holding a public hearing at which <br />time the appellants and the applicant were afforded the <br />opportunity to speak, present evidence and a petition, <br />as well as allowing any other member of the general publ c <br />to speak on this particular matter; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to the holding of the public hearing, the City <br />Council considered this application together with <br />Resolution No. 1413 of the Planning Commission, Resolu- <br />tion No.R76-22 of the Design Review Board, Staff Reports <br />of May 12, 1976 and June 23, 1976 and the arguments <br />presented at the City Council's public hearing. <br />
