' CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 76-157 A RESOLUTION SUSTAINING THE APPEAL OF KAY MARTIN AND CHARLOTTE WITKE OF A PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION APPROVING UP-76-13 WHEREAS, a conditional use permit was applied for by Chris Beratlis to allow the construction and use of a parking lot on a site located west of the rear of residences on Longspur way, south of the Pleasanton Canal and north of Valley Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this conditional use permit application at its meeting of May 12, 1976; and WHEREAS, at the close of said public hearing, and after reviewing staff reports, site plan, and hearing public testimony, the Planning Commission approved the application of Chris Beratlis for UP-76-12 subject to certain conditio as set forth in Planning Commission Resolution No.1413; WHEREAS, Kay Martin and Charlotte Witke appealed the decision of the Planning Commission to the City Council at their meeting of June 28, 1976; and [•WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of June 28, 1976, con- side red said appeal by holding a public hearing at which time the appellants and the applicant were afforded the opportunity to speak, present evidence and a petition, as well as allowing any other member of the general publ c to speak on this particular matter; and WHEREAS, subsequent to the holding of the public hearing, the City Council considered this application together with Resolution No. 1413 of the Planning Commission, Resolu- tion No.R76-22 of the Design Review Board, Staff Reports of May 12, 1976 and June 23, 1976 and the arguments presented at the City Council's public hearing.
