CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-155 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A PROGRAM <br />OF LOCAL AGENCY FEDERAL AID SAFETY IMPROVEMENT <br />PROJECTS IN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pleasanton by Resolution <br />No. 75-118 (A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR <br />FEDERAL AID IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS), on June 9, 1975 ap- <br />proved a Local Agency - State Agreement for Federal <br />Aid Improvements Projects and Supplements No. 1 re- <br />lating to the installation of automatic gates at the <br />Western Pacific Railroad crossing on Saint Mary <br />street; and <br />WHEREAS, two of the City's Safer Roads Demonstration Program <br />projects regarding modification of storm drain grates <br />for bicycle safety and replacement of substandard <br />railroad crossing warning signs, are currently under- <br />way; and <br />WHEREAS, CalTrans has asked that a Supplement No. 2 to the <br />Agreement authorized by Resolution No. 75-118 be <br />approved in order that progress on the forementioned <br />two projects may continue; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of June 28, 1976 the City Council con- <br />sidered a report from the Director of Engineering <br />Services, dated June 23, 1976, to which was appended <br />Program Supplement No. 2, dated June 16, 1976. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Authorizes the execution of a program of Local <br />Agency Federal Aid Safety Improvement Projects in <br />the City of Pleasanton, Supplement No. 2 with the <br />Department of Transportation of the State of <br />California. <br />
