CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-180 <br />ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT DEED FROM ROMAN CATHOLIC WELFARE <br />CORPORATION TO PROPERTY AT 287 ROSE AVENUE, PLEASANTON, <br />CALIFORNIA, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF ESCROW <br />INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PURCHASE OF SAID PROPERTY <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of June 3, 1976, author- <br />ized the City Attorney by Resolution No. 76-133 to <br />negotiate with the Roman Catholic Welfare Corporation <br />for the acquisition of the property located at 287 Rose <br />Avenue, Pleasanton, California; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of said negotiations a purchase price of <br />$60,000 was agreed upon for said property; and <br />WHEREAS, escrow instructions were prepared for the acquisition of <br />said property for the sum of $60,000, plus closing costs; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Accepts from t't~e Roman Catholic Welfare Corporation <br />a grant deed for the property located at 287 Rose Avenue, <br />Pleasanton, California, in consideration of the payment <br />of $60,000. <br />Section 2. Authorizes the City Manager to sign escrow instructia <br />prepared by Northwestern Title Company of Alameda County <br />for the purchase of property at 287 Rose Avenue,Pleasant <br />California, for the sum of $60,000, plus $414.15 in <br />escrow costs including a title insurance policy for said <br />property. <br />Section 3.
