CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-170 <br />RE: CONFIRMATION OF COST OF ABATEMENT OF WEEDS FOR 1976 <br />WHEREAS, abatement of weeds within the City of Pleasanton has <br />been satisfactorily completed consistent with the provi- <br />sions of the Government Code relating thereto; and <br />WHEREAS, the Fire Department of the City of Pleasanton has pre- <br />pared, based upon information furnished by the City's <br />contractor, a list of the costs on a per lot basis of <br />abating weeds upon or in front of said lots. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. No objections having been made to the itemization of <br />costs on a per lot basis of the City's weed abatement <br />program for 1975-76 and the itemization having been <br />posted consistent with the requirements of the Govern- <br />ment Code outside the City Council Chambers prior hereto, <br />the itemization contained in the report of the Fire <br />Marshall of the City of Pleasanton Fire Department dated <br />July 7, 1976, is hereby confirmed and the appropriate <br />City officers instructed to take whatever action nec- <br />essary to implement said confirmation including the <br />filing of said itemization of costs with the Auditor <br />of the County of Alameda in order that said costs be <br />billed and collected as taxes against the lots to <br />which the costs herein approved have attached as liens. <br />(Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediatly upon <br />its passage and adoption. <br />(,THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON JULY 12, 1976 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE <br />AYES: <br />Councilmembers - Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer and <br />Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: NONE <br />ABSENT: NONE <br />ATTEST: <br />William H.
