CITY OF PLEASAIQTOt3 <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 76-166 <br />APPROVING EXECUTION OF AN AMENDMENT OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR MUTUAL FIRE ASSISTANCE <br />WHEREAS, on November 20, 1962, the City of Pleasanton, <br />together with other public entities, entered into <br />a certain Mutual Fire Assistance Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, said agreement was amended on February 15, 1966; and <br />WHEREAS, a proposed amendment to said agreement has been <br />submitted to the City in order to add the Tassajara <br />Fire District of Contra Costa County to the Mutual <br />Aid Agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, this matter has been considered by the City Council <br />at its meeting of July 12, 1976. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Authorizes the Mayor to execute an agreement entitled <br />Amendment of Agreement for Mutual Fire Assistance. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION WAS ADOPTED ON JULY 12, 1976, BY THE FOLLOWING <br />VOTE: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, <br />Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ATTEST: <br />By Doris George, Deputy City Clerk <br />Mercer, and <br /> <br />
