MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />This Memorandum of Understanding made and entered into this 24th day of <br />June, 1976, by and between the City Manager of the City of Pleasanton, <br />hereinafter referred to as "City", and the Director of Public Works Field i <br />Services, hereinafter referred to as "Director". ' <br />i <br />W I T N E S S E T H <br />• WHEREAS, it is the intent of the parties hereof that this Memorandum of <br />Understanding be binding as regards City's obligation, if any, <br />to pay and Director's right, if any, to receive salary and fringe ~ <br />1 <br />benefits for the Fiscal Year 1976-77, beginning July 1, 1976, and , <br />ending June 30, 1977. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: <br />I. Term. The term of the agreement shall commence on July 1, 1976, <br />and terminate on June 30, 1977. <br />II. Benefits. Benefits for Fiscal Year 1976-77. Benefits as herein- <br />after provided shall be paid by City to Director for the pay i <br />i <br />period beginning July 1, 1976, and continuing to the same level , <br />at least until June 30, 1977, whereupon such benefits may be re- <br />evaluated by City. <br />1. Salary. A salary as of the date hereof of $2,225.00 per month. <br />i <br />2. Fringe Benefits. ~ <br />(a) Health and Welfare benefits to include fully paid medical. <br />(b) Two days administratlve leave not to be taken in conjunc- <br />tion with annual vacation and to be reimbursed at the end <br />of the year if not taken. <br />(c) Payment of up to five (5) days accumulated vacation to be <br />paid at the end of the calendar year provided the current <br />year's vacation accumulation has been used, and provided <br />that the total amount of accumulated vacation is in excess <br />of twenty (20) days. <br />
