MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING This Memorandum of Understanding made and entered into this 24th day of June, 1976, by and between the City Manager of the City of Pleasanton, hereinafter referred to as "City", and the Director of Public Works Field i Services, hereinafter referred to as "Director". ' i W I T N E S S E T H • WHEREAS, it is the intent of the parties hereof that this Memorandum of Understanding be binding as regards City's obligation, if any, to pay and Director's right, if any, to receive salary and fringe ~ 1 benefits for the Fiscal Year 1976-77, beginning July 1, 1976, and , ending June 30, 1977. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: I. Term. The term of the agreement shall commence on July 1, 1976, and terminate on June 30, 1977. II. Benefits. Benefits for Fiscal Year 1976-77. Benefits as herein- after provided shall be paid by City to Director for the pay i i period beginning July 1, 1976, and continuing to the same level , at least until June 30, 1977, whereupon such benefits may be re- evaluated by City. 1. Salary. A salary as of the date hereof of $2,225.00 per month. i 2. Fringe Benefits. ~ (a) Health and Welfare benefits to include fully paid medical. (b) Two days administratlve leave not to be taken in conjunc- tion with annual vacation and to be reimbursed at the end of the year if not taken. (c) Payment of up to five (5) days accumulated vacation to be paid at the end of the calendar year provided the current year's vacation accumulation has been used, and provided that the total amount of accumulated vacation is in excess of twenty (20) days.
