ME1•fORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING This Memorandum of Understanding made and entered into this 24th day of June, 1976, by and between the City Manager of the City of Pleasanton, hereinafter referred to as "City", and Assistant to the City Manager, hereinafter referred to as "Assistant". W I T N E S SET H WHEREAS, it is the intent of the parties hereof that this Memorandum of Understanding be binding as regards City's obligation, if any, to pay and Assistant's right, if any, to receive salary and fringe benefits for the Fiscal Year 1976-77, beginning July 1, 1976, and ending June 30, 1977. i NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS MUTUALLY AGREID BETWEEN THE PARTIES HERETO AS FOLLOWS: ~!! I. Term. The term of the agreement shall commence on July 1, 1976, and terminate on June 30, 1977. i II. Benefits. Benefits for Fiscal Year 1976-77. Benefits as herein- after provided shall be paid by City to Assistant for the pay ' period beginning July 1, 1976, and continuing to the same level at least until June 30, 1977, whereupon such benefits may be re- evaluated by City. 1. Salar A salary as of the date hereof of $2,000.00 per month 2. Fringe Benefits. (a) Health and Welfare benefits to include fully paid medical. (b) Two days administrative leave not to be taken in con3unc- tion with annual vacation and to be reimbursed at the end of the year if not taken. (e) A vehicle allowance of $50.00 per month. (d) Payment of up to five (5) days accumulated vacation to be ~ paid at the end of the calendar year provided the current ~ year's vacation accumulation has been used, and provided that the total amount of accumulated vacation is in excess of twenty (20) days.
