CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-026 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />SIGN A CERTIFICATE CONCERNING AN IRREVOCABLE <br />OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR PROPERTIES WITHIN <br />TRACT 7008, STONERIDGE SQUARE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its meeting of March 21, 2000, the City Council received a report from the <br />Director of Public Works (SR 00:083) regarding an irrevocable offer of dedication <br />for future street fight of way in Tract 7008, Stoneridge Square; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Parcel D of Tract 7008 was reserved for a potential future phase of the subdivision <br />and in order to accommodate the potential for future street improvements during <br />any subsequent subdivision, the owner has made an irrevocable offer to dedicate <br />portions of Lots 9, 16, 25 and 32 for public street rights of way; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />although the City is not accepting the right of way at this time as it might not be <br />required for public street purposes, depending on the eventual alignment of <br />Stoneridge Drive, the City reserves the right to accept the offer of dedication at any <br />later time. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />Authorizes the City Manager to sign a certificate concerning an irrevocable offer <br />of right of way dedication for portions of lots 9, 16, 25 and 32 within Tract 7008, <br />Stoneridge Square. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
