WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 76-189 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A <br />LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />AND THE ALAMEDA COUNTY AGRICULTURAL FAIR ASSO- <br />CIATION OF THE YOUNG CALIFORNIA BUILDING FOR <br />TENNIS FACILITIES <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton and the Alameda County Agri- <br />cultural Fair Association entered into a lease on <br />January 1, 1976, terminating on May 31, 1976, of the <br />Young California Building for the purposes of estab- <br />lishing indoor tennis courts to be operated by the <br />City of Pleasanton; and <br />the City of Pleasanton and the Alameda County Agri- <br />cultural Fair Association are interested in entering <br />into another lease of the same facility for the same <br />purposes, said lease to run from approximately August <br />12, 1976 through, and including, May 31, 1977; and <br />a copy of the proposed lease between the parties was <br />submitted to the City Council at its meeting of August <br />9, 1976 for its consideration. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the Mayor to execute a lease agreement <br /> between the City of Pleasanton and the Alameda County <br /> Agricultural Fair Association entitled, Lease Agreement <br /> Tennis Facilities - Young California Building Alameda <br /> County Fairgrounds. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
