WHEREAS, WHEREAS, CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 76-220 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA COOPERATIVE PERSONNEL SERVICES the City of Pleasanton has previously contracted with the State of California Cooperative Personnel Services for the provision of various written examination mater- ials used in entry level and promotional employment testing; and the City Council, at their meeting of October 11, 1976, received a report from the City Manager recommending that said contract be renewed for a period of two years commencing October 1, 1976. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Authorizes execution by Mayor Robert C. Philcox, of an agreement between the City of Pleasanton and the State of California, State Personnel Board, Cooperative Person- nel Services Division, for the purpose of performing ex- amining services for the City of Pleasanton for two years Section 2. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. Following is an excerpt from the minutes of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton meeting, held October 11, 1976: On the recommendation of William H. Edgar, City Manager, it was moved by Frank Brandes, Jr., Councilmember, and seconded by Kenneth Mercer, Councilmember, that Robert C. Philcox, Mayor of the City of Pleasanton, be authorized to enter into and sign an agreement with the State of California, California State Personnel Board, Cooperative Personnel Services Division, for the purpose of perform- ing examining services for the City of Pleasanton for a period of two years commencing October 1, 1976 and ending on Septemker 30, 1978.
