WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />NHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-216 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION 0F= THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF PLEASANTON ADOPTING A CONFLICT OF INTEREST <br />CODE APPLICABLE TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY <br />COUNCIL PURSUANT TO THE POLITICAL REFORM <br />ACT OF 1974 <br /> <br />in accordance with rules and regulations promulgated <br />by the Fair Political Practices Commissio~ the City <br />Council of the City of Pleasanton must adopt and <br />submit to said Commission a conflict of interest <br />code by October 10, 1976; and <br />the City Council desires to insure that a council- <br />member cannot participate in decisions which would <br />have a material financial effect upon interests <br />and investments of a councilmember's relatives, by <br />blood or marriage, to the first degree; and <br />a duly noticed public hearing was held regarding the <br />conflict of interest code of the City Council of the <br />City of Pleasanton on September 27, 1976; <br /> <br />~OW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />~ection 1. ADOPTION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE. In compliance <br /> <br /> with ~87300 of the Government Code, the City Council <br /> hereby adopts this Conflict of Interest Code. <br /> <br />Section 2. APPLICATION OF CODE. This Conflict of Interest Code <br /> shall be applicable to members of the City Council, <br /> whether acting as a Council member or as governing <br /> board member or commissioner of any city agency. <br /> <br />Section 3. DISCLOSURE. Members of the City Council are required,. <br /> pursuant to Government Code ~87200, to disclose inves~ <br /> ments, interests in real property and income. No <br /> other or no additional disclosure requirements are <br /> imposed hy this Conflict of interest Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
