WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-212 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A RENEWAL <br />BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF ALAMEDA AND THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOY- <br />MENT UNDER THE COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT TRAINING <br />ACT (CETA), TITLE IV <br /> <br />the City of Pleasanton and County of Alameda, on <br />January 13, 1975, entered into a contract providing <br />for a program of Public Service Employment (PSE) <br />under CETA, Title IV; and <br />it is necessary for the City and County to renew <br />said contract in order to provide the City of Pleas- <br />anton with an additional TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND AND <br />NO/100ths DOLLARS ($25,000.00) in CETA funds to <br /> <br /> continue the employment of CETA personnel September 1, <br /> 1976 thru January 31, 1977. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes execution by the Mayor of the CETA, <br /> Title VI contract dated September 1, 1976, between <br /> the City of Pleasanton and the County of Alameda in <br /> order to provide the City of Pleasanton with an ad- <br /> ditional TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND AND NO/100ths DOLLARS <br /> ($25,000.00) in CETA funds to continue the employ- <br /> ment of CETA personnel September 1, 1976 thru January <br /> 31, 1977. <br /> <br />Section 2.
