CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-236 <br /> <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN PACIFIC <br /> TRANSPORTATION COMPANY FOR RELOCATION OF AUTOMATIC CROSSING <br /> GATE ON SPRING STREET RAILROAD CROSSING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City, in 1974-75, widened Spring Street between <br /> First Street and the Southern Pacific Railroad tracks; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as part of said project, it was agreed that the north <br /> crossing protection gate would be relocated by Southern <br /> Pacific Transportation Company; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Southern Pacific Transportation Company has prepared a <br /> contract for the performance of the work to be done with <br /> respect to the above relocation of the north crossing <br /> protection gate which was reviewed by City Council at <br /> its meeting of October 25, 1976; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes execution by the Mayor of an agreement <br /> with Southern Pacific Transportation Company with <br /> respect to the relocation of the automatic crossing gate <br /> on the Spring Street railroad crossing. <br /> <br />Section 2.
