CITY OF pLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-225 <br /> <br /> RE: REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF <br /> OAKS SEWER IMPROVEMENTS, <br /> MOUNTAIN CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and spe ications for the <br /> Highland Oaks Sewer , project No. 76-6; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Cod, 37900, et seq., the City <br /> Engineering Services !tment advertised for bids <br /> <br />regarding this projec' <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Mountain <br /> <br /> FOR HIGHLAND <br />NO. 76-6 TO <br /> <br /> and <br />nstruction, Inc. was the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bid; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the lowest bid <br /> budgeted for <br /> <br />allocate ar <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> ceeded $55,000.00, the amount originally <br /> <br /> project, it will be necessary to <br />~dditional $12,200.00 to this project from <br />~rovement fund in order to complete this <br /> <br />NOW, <br />RESOLVE~ <br /> <br />ection <br /> <br />SE <br /> <br />require project. <br /> [HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON DOES <br /> <br /> : <br /> ?he bid of Mountain Construction, Inc. in the amount <br /> $62,102.54 for the construction of the Highland Oaks <br /> Sewer improvements, project No. 76-6 is hereby accepted <br /> by City Council as the lowest responsible bid and <br /> authorizes the allocation of an additional $12,200.00 <br /> to this project from the sewer improvement fund. <br />.ion 2. The City is authorized to enter into a contract with <br /> Mountain Construction, Inc. for the improvements <br /> <br /> specified above. <br />~ection 3.
