WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 76-241 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT AT FIRST AND NEAL <br />STREET AND AUTHORIZING CALLING FOR BIDS <br /> <br />the Director of Engineering Services by memorandum <br />dated October 18, 1976, advised the City Council that <br />plans and specifications had been completed for the <br />intersection of First and Neal Streets installation <br />of a traffic signal system; and <br />the Director of Engineering Services provided the <br />City Council with plans illustrating the traffic sig- <br />nal project to be constructed at the intersection of <br />First and Neal Streets; and <br />this is a project authorized under Federal Aid Urban <br />System and the amount budgeted for this project is <br />$55,000, of which $41,500 is F.A.U. funds and $13,500 <br />is County Gas Tax Funds. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the plans and specifications for installa- <br /> tion of a traffic signal system at the intersection of <br /> First and Neal Streets. <br /> Section 2. Authorizes the calling of bids in the above project. <br /> Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON OCTOBER 25, 1976 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers ~ <br /> - Brandes,.H lihy, LeClaire, Mercer and <br /> <br />NOES: NoneMayor Phil h~~I <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~ <br /> R B PHILCOX, May r <br />William H.
