WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-270 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DENYING THE APPEAL OF THE DECISION OF THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO FILE A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR A PRO- <br />POSED 14,000 SQUARE FEET COMMERCIAL SERVICE BUILDING <br />AT 3675 SANTA RITA ROAD. <br /> <br /> the City Manager On October 22, 1976 filed a "Notice <br /> <br /> of Intent to File a Negative Declaration" for project <br /> UP-76-30, Z-76-197; and <br /> said decision was appealed within the time period pro- <br /> vided for in the City of Pleasanton Environmental Impact <br /> Guidelines and Procedures; and <br /> on November 22, 1976, a public hearing on said appeal <br /> was heard by the City Council; and <br /> the appellant, and all other interested members of the <br /> public, were afforded an opportunity to speak in favor <br /> and against the appeal; and <br /> at the conclusion of the public hearing the City Council <br /> deliberated upon the appeal considering the testimony <br /> provided by the public as well as the staff report of <br /> November 16, 1976 and exhibits attached thereto <br /> <br /> relating to said appeal; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Denies the appeal from the decision of the City <br /> Manager to file a negative declaration for a proposed <br /> project to construct a 14,000 square feet conunercial <br /> service building at 3675 Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Council determines pursuant to Section 5.4(b) <br /> and Section 5.2 of the City's Environmental Impact <br /> Guidelines and Procedures as set forth in Resolution <br /> 74-24 that the project in question will not have a <br /> significant effect upon the environment. <br /> <br /> <br />
