CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-265 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUESTING RECOMMENDATION BY THE PLANNING <br /> COMMISSION ON PERMITTED USES IN THE I-P (INDUSTRIAL <br /> PARK) DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of November 22, 1976 <br /> considered a request for a general plan amendment for <br /> approximately 6.5 acres of land located immediately east <br /> of Sunol Boulevard on both sides of Sonoma Drive from <br /> "Public and Institutional" to "General and Limited <br /> Industrial"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 76-264 approving <br /> <br /> said general plan amendment; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, during the course of deliberations on said general plan <br /> amendment the City Council was concerned about the uses <br /> permitted in the Industrial Park District especially <br /> when it is located near residential zones; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to obtain the recommendations <br /> and input of the Planning Commission with respect to <br /> permitted uses in the Industrial Park District; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Requestthe Planning Commission and the City Staff to <br /> review the uses allowed in the I-P (Industrial Park) <br /> District and make recommendations with respect to any <br /> changes to the permitted uses in said district which <br /> the Planning Commission and City Staff believe are <br /> appropriate. <br /> <br />Section 2. Requeststhe Planning Commission and City Staff to <br /> <br /> transmit their recommendations with respect to permitted <br /> uses in the Industrial Park District as soon as possible <br /> within the next 60 days after the adoption of this <br /> resolution. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
