CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 76-283 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXERCISE 0F OPTION TO RENEW <br /> LEASE OF JUSTICE LAND COMPANY PROPERTY FO~ USE AS <br /> CO[~CIL CHE4BERS AND CITY ATTOP~EY'S OFFICES <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton presently leases from Justice <br /> Land Company a building located at 30 West Angela Street <br /> for various City meetings including the City Council <br /> meetings and office space for the City Attorney's office <br /> and COVA~ and <br /> <br />?~EREAS, said lease with Justice Land Company terminates on <br /> December 31, 1976 unless the City exercise an option <br /> to continue the lease of said property at it~ current <br /> rental rate of $1,175 a month; and <br /> <br />~tE~LS, b~ memorandum of November 15, 1976 from the Assistant <br /> to the City Manager, Mr. Walker~ it was recornmende~ <br /> that the City Council authorize an extension of the <br /> lease with Justice Land Company for additional one-year <br /> period to expire on December 31~ 1977. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, Tt{E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the City's Staff to notify Justice Land <br /> ComlDany that the City will exercise an one-year option <br /> to continue rental of the building located at 30 West <br /> <br /> Angela Street from January 1, 1977 to December 31, 1977. <br />Section 2. Authorizes the Mayor to execute any documents which <br /> <br /> ~nhe City Attorney deems necessary to be signed in <br /> relaticnship to the extension of this lease. <br /> <br />IIIIIilIII/I <br /> <br /> <br />
