CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-18 <br /> <br /> A P~ESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT <br /> WITH ALamEDA COUNTY FOR THE SENIOR CITIZENS TRANS- <br /> PORTATION PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ~he County is receiving funds pursuant to the State and <br /> Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972 from the federal <br /> government~ and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has a Senior Citizens Mini-Bus <br /> Program which is fundable under the terms of the afore- <br /> mentioned act; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Alameda is willing to delegate to City of <br /> Pleasanton the performance of services rendered by the <br /> mini-bus program subject to the execution of a conkract <br /> with the County of Alameda; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of January 24, 1977, <br /> reviewed a copy of a contract with Alameda County pertain- <br /> ing to the aforementioned program; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTO~ DOES <br /> RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes execution of a contract with Alameda County <br /> in order to obtain $2,700 in funds from the County ~ur <br /> suant to the State and Local Fiscal Assistance Act of <br /> 1972, as amended in 1976, to be used in providing trans- <br /> portation services through the City of Pleasanton Mini-Bus <br /> Program for elderly citizens. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
