WIlE REAS , <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />CITY OF PLEASi~NTON <br />COUNTY OF iiLA~qEDA <br />STATE OF CALiFOi~i]i <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-12 <br />A RESOLUfXON OF THE CITY COUNCil OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ADOPTING A ~EVISED CONFLICT OF INTEREST <br />CODE APPLICABLE TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />PURSUANT TO THE POLITICAL REFO~4 ACT OF 1974 <br /> <br />in accordance with rules and regulations promulgated by <br />the Fair Political Practices Commission, the City Council <br />of the City of Pleasanton adopted and submitted to said <br />Commission a conflict of interest code by October 10~ <br />1976 (Resolution No. 76-216, adopted on September 27; <br />1976)~ and <br />said code was different from the model code disseminated <br />by the Fair Political Practices Commission since it <br />prohibited councilmembers from participating in decisions <br />which would have a material financial effect upon the <br />interests and investments of a councilmer~er's relatives~ <br /> <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS; the Fair Political Practices Commission held a hearing <br /> on the City Council's code on November 16, 1976 and <br /> voted to return said code to the City Council, pursuant <br /> to Government Code S87303(c), for amendment an~. reccn. <br /> sideration~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said conflic[L of interest code was amended an~i a i=[uly <br /> noticed public hearing was held regarding the revised <br /> conflict of interest code of the City Council of the <br /> City of Pleasanton on January 10~ 1977; <br /> <br />NOW~ THEREFOi:IE~ THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLE2iS2U~TON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS~ <br /> <br />Section 1.
