CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 77-8 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN <br /> ~ENDMENT TO THE COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND <br /> TRAINING ACT CONTRACT WITH ALAMEDA COUNTY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on September 1, 1976 the City of Pleasanton and the <br /> County of Alameda entered into a contract for the ad- <br /> ministration of the Comprehensive Employment and Train- <br /> ing Act (CETA) program funds; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors has recently <br /> made changes in the administration of the CETA program <br /> within the County so that cities contracting with the <br /> County for CETA funds will also assume control over CETA <br /> funds given directly to school districts and community <br /> organizations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a proposed amendment to the CETA contract between the <br /> City of Pleasanton and Alameda County was presented to <br /> the City Council at its meeting of January 10, 1977 for <br /> its review and consideration. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the execution by the Mayor of an amendment <br /> to the contract of September 1, 1976 between the County <br /> of Alameda and the City of Pleasanton relating to the <br /> <br />Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA). <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
