CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-40 A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH HEALTH CARE CENTER, RE: COMPREHENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT (CETA) WHEREAS, on January 10, 1977 the City Council adopted a Resolu- tion No. 77-8 (A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of an Amendment to the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act Contract with Alameda County); and WHEREAS, by said amendment the City of Pleasanton assumed control over CETA funds given directly to school districts and community organizations; and WHEREAS, City Manager, by memorandum of February 8, 1977, trans- mitted to the City Council a proposed contract with the Pleasanton Health Care Center regarding use of the CETA program for an existing authorized public service posi- tion. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the execution of a County of Alameda Public Service Employment contract between the Pleasanton Health Care Center and the City of Pleasanton for the use of CETA funds to employ one existing authorized public ser- vice position allocated to the Pleasanton Health Care Center, subject to the approval as to form by the City Attorney. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 14, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: ATTEST: William H.
