<br />P__ermitted Uses. The following uses shall be permitted:
<br />
<br />I-P Industrial Park District.
<br />
<br />Manufacture, assembly, compounding, processing and packaging
<br />of products from the following and other similar non-hazardous
<br />previously prepared materials: bone, canvas, cellophane,
<br />cellulose, cloth, cork, feathers, felt, natural and synthetic
<br />fibres, fur, glass, hair, ink, horn, leather, paint (not
<br />employing a boiling process), paper, plastics, precious
<br />and semi-precious stones, rubber and synthetic rubber,
<br />shell, straw, tobacco, metals and wood (not including
<br />planing mills or sawmills);
<br />
<br />Manufacture of cutlery, hardware and hand tools; die and
<br />pattern making; and metal stamping and extrusion of small
<br />products such as costume jewelry, pins and needles, razor
<br />blades, bottle caps, buttons and kitchen utensils.
<br />
<br />Manufacture and assembly of small electric appliances such
<br />as lighting fixtures, irons, fans, toasters and electric toys,
<br />but not including refrigerators, washing machines, dryers,
<br />dishwashers and similar hom~ appliances.
<br />
<br />Laboratories, commercial, testing, research, experimental
<br />or other, including pilot plants.
<br />
<br />Regional administrative offices, including computer centers
<br />each in excess of 5,000 square feet of usable space.
<br />
<br />Manufacture and assembly of business machines; communication
<br />and testing equipment; electrical supplies and equipment;
<br />scientific, medical, dental and drafting instruments; ortho-
<br />pedic and medical appliances; optical goods; watches and
<br />clocks; precision instruments; and cameras and photographic
<br />equipment (except film).
<br />
<br />Printing, publishing, lithographing and engraving.
<br />
<br />Incidental services for employees on a site occupied by a
<br />permitted use.
<br />
<br />Watchmen's living quarters only when incidental to and on
<br />the same site with a permitted use.
<br />
<br />Parking lots improved in conformity with the standards
<br />prescribed in Article 16 relating to Standards for Off-
<br />Street Parking Facilities.
<br />
<br />Any other use which is determined by the City Planning
<br />Commission as provided in Article 24 (Determination as to
<br />Uses Not Listed) would be similar or compatible with the
<br />industrial park concept.
<br />
<br />Accessory structures and uses located on the same site as a
<br />permitted use.
