CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-58 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE APPLICATION OF <br />MORRISON HOMES, INC. FOR PUD FOR AN APPROXIMATE 65- <br />UNIT SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT ON A 23 <br />ACRE PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE <br />DEL VALLE PARKWAY IMMEDIATELY EAST OF HOPYARD ROAD <br /> <br />WHEREAS , <br /> <br />on February 9, 1977, the Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of case PUD-76-3 as showh on the development <br />plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on February 23, 1977, the Park and Recreation Commission <br />recommended numerous changes which would necessitate a <br />major redesign of the subdivision and resubmitting the <br />plan to the Planning Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />because of the divergence of opinion between the Planning <br />Commission, City staff and Park and Recreation Commission, <br />the staff feels that no final action should be taken at <br />this time and the matter should be continued for two weeks <br />to allow further meetings with the developer to discuss new <br />circumstances which apply to the plan; and <br /> <br />it would be helpful to the participants in the meetings <br />if the Council discussed and agreed upon a policy for the <br />development of Del Valle Parkway and the Arroyo del Valle. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The application of Morrison Homes, Inc. for a planned <br /> unit development for an approximately 65-unit single <br /> family residential development on a roughly 23 acre parcel <br /> of land located on the south side of the Del Valle Parkway <br /> immediately east of Hopyard Road, is denied without prejudice. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON FEBRUARY 28, 1977, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />ne~, Deputy il~~'ty Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
