CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-45 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SUPPLE- <br />MENT NO. 3 TO THE LOCAL AGENCY-STATE AGREE- <br />MENT FOR FEDERAL AID IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR <br />TRAFFIC STRIPING AND PAVEMENT MARKERS PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Engineering Services on November 17, <br />1976 advised the City Council that the City was at- <br />tempting to obtain funds under the Pavement Marking <br />Demonstration Program for a number of streets in the <br />City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />a memo of February 8, 1977,from Director of Engineer- <br />ing Services advised the City Council that the City's <br />Grant Application had received tentative approval and <br />if the City was desirous of proceeding with this pro- <br />gram, it would be necessary for the City Council to <br />adopt a resolution approving Supplement No. 3 to that <br />Local Agency-State Agreement for Federal Aid Improve- <br />ment Projects that had been approved by the City <br />Council on June 9, 1975 by Resolution No. 75-118; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council was advised that this program would <br /> be funded 100% by Federal Funds. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorizes the execution by the Mayor on behalf of <br /> the City Council, subject to approval as to form by the <br /> City Attorney, of Supplement 3, the Local Agency-State <br /> Agreement for Federal Aid Improvement Projects approved <br /> by the City Council on June 9, 1975 by Resolution <br /> No. 75-118. <br /> <br />Section 2.
