CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-45 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SUPPLE- MENT NO. 3 TO THE LOCAL AGENCY-STATE AGREE- MENT FOR FEDERAL AID IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR TRAFFIC STRIPING AND PAVEMENT MARKERS PROGRAM WHEREAS, WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering Services on November 17, 1976 advised the City Council that the City was at- tempting to obtain funds under the Pavement Marking Demonstration Program for a number of streets in the City of Pleasanton; and a memo of February 8, 1977,from Director of Engineer- ing Services advised the City Council that the City's Grant Application had received tentative approval and if the City was desirous of proceeding with this pro- gram, it would be necessary for the City Council to adopt a resolution approving Supplement No. 3 to that Local Agency-State Agreement for Federal Aid Improve- ment Projects that had been approved by the City Council on June 9, 1975 by Resolution No. 75-118; and WHEREAS, the City Council was advised that this program would be funded 100% by Federal Funds. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Authorizes the execution by the Mayor on behalf of the City Council, subject to approval as to form by the City Attorney, of Supplement 3, the Local Agency-State Agreement for Federal Aid Improvement Projects approved by the City Council on June 9, 1975 by Resolution No. 75-118. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
