CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-80 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST FOR BUDGET MODIFICATION <br />FOR WATER MAIN IN VALLEY AVE~E <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />design is virtually complete on the intersection improve- <br />ments and signalization project at Santa Rita Road and <br />Valley Avenue and it is apparent that a portion of the <br />20-inch water line planned for Valley Avenue between <br />Santa Rita Road and Kolln Street should be installed <br />either in advance of this project or as a part of it <br />to avoid the extra cost and inconvenience of constructing <br />through street improvements in the future; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />it is necessary to construct some 280 feet of water main <br />tying into the existing water main in Santa Rita Road to <br />clear our project area and the estimated cost is approxi- <br />mately $20,000; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the current capital improvement budget has projected a <br />balance in the water improvement fund of $91,236.00 as <br />of June 30, 1977. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves a budget modification allocating $20,000.00 <br /> from the Water Improvement Fund to be used on the Valley <br /> Water Main. <br /> <br />Section 2.
