CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-77 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING CONTRACT <br />WITH INDUSTRIAL EMPLOYERS AND DISTRIBUTORS ASSOCIATION <br /> <br />WtlEREAS, <br /> <br />Industrial Employers and Distributors Association (IEDA), <br />the firm with whom the City contracts for labor relations <br />services, has proposed a fee increase which will raise <br />the City's annual cost for IEDA's services from $5,227.80 <br />per year to $8,467.20 per year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the increased charge fs not due solely to <br />in fees, but is also necessary due to the <br />number of City employees; and <br /> <br />an increase <br />growth in the <br /> <br />WHEREAS, IEDA's services have been extremely valuable and will <br /> be of benefit in the future. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the contract amendment with IEDA. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute <br /> the contract amendment. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED ON MARCH 14, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers: <br /> Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Brandes, Herlihy, <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO~ <br />~heidig ~~ <br /> <br />LeClaire, Mercer and <br /> <br /> COX~ <br /> <br /> <br />
