the Dep~r~--ment of 'bor to delegate administr~ion of Title II <br />programs to specified jurisdictions within Alameda County, with <br />responsibility for developing, funding, overseeing, and monitor- <br /> <br />ing public service employment programs for <br />stantial unemployment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, according to Sec. 96.23(a)(4) <br /> <br />specific areas of sub- <br /> <br />of CETA, jobs shall <br /> <br />be ~llocated equitably to State and local public agencies and <br />subdivisions thereoft such as education agencies; and <br /> WHEREAS, Alameda County (program Agent) has delegated con- <br />trol over CETA funds to be used within a City to that City; and <br /> WHEREAS, Sub-Agent formerly received all funding through <br />Alameda County (Program Agent)..but would now receive its funding <br />through the City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Sub-Agent, for and in considera- <br /> tion of mutual promises and agreements herein contained,.agree as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Funding. <br /> City will provide to Sub-Agent funds granted to Alameda C6unty <br /> (Program Agent) by Department of Labor under Title II of CETA in <br /> accordance with the conditions, requirements and limitations estab- <br /> lished for use of said funds. Funding for the period from Septemberl, <br /> 1976 through February 28, 1977, shall cover the cost of wages and ... <br /> benefits for the five (5) existing authorized public service positions <br /> allocated to Sub-Agent so long as each of those five (5) positions re- <br /> main filled. Should any of those positions become vacant, the City <br /> may refill or redeploy such positions at its discretion. <br /> Section 2. General Conditions, Requirements and Limitations. <br /> Sub-Agent will adhere to the conditions, requirements and limi- <br /> tations established for use of funds provided it by Alameda <br /> <br /> <br />
