CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-94 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE SELECTION OF LAVWMA EXPORT <br />ALTERNATIVE 1B-O <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Livermore-Amador Valley Water Management Agency is a <br />Joint Exercise of Powers Agency consisting of the City of <br />Livermore, City of Pleasanton and the Valley Community <br />Services District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />LAVWMAwaS created for the purpose of achieving a solution <br />to the removal of treated effluent from the Livermore-Amador <br />Valley; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the LAVWMA Board of Directors at a special meeting held on <br />March 24, 1977 received a report from their engineer, CH2M <br />Hill, entitled Reclamation - Re-Use and Export Alternatives <br />Evaluation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />LAVWMA ~oard of Directors requested the participating agen- <br />cies to study said report and make recommendations to the <br />LAVWMA Board of Directors as to the export alternative that <br />each entity believes that the LAVWMA Board of Directors <br />should pursue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the city Council at an adjourned regular meeting held on <br />March 29, 1977 considered said report and allowed public <br />comment with respect to the same. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RE- <br />SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Endorses export alternative 1B-O (Boehmer Summit - EBDA <br /> Interceptor, No Demineralization - Nominal Re-Use) which <br /> has an estimated total capital cost of $38,009,000. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED MARCH 29, 1977 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Herlihy, LeClaire Mercer and Mayor Philcox <br /> <br />NOES: Councilmember - Brandes <br />ABSENT: None ~ <br />ATTEST: <br /> ROBE <br />Doris George, Deputy ~l~ty 6lerk <br /> <br />.T C.
