CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF AL/~4EDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-90 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE <br />INSTALLATION OF VALLEY AVENUE WATER MAIN AND AUTHORIZING <br />CALLING FOR BIDS <br /> <br />~{EREAS, <br /> <br />the Director of Engineering Services by his report <br />dated March 22, 1977 advised the City Council that <br />plans and specifications had been completed for the <br />installation of the Valley Avenue Water Main from <br />Santa Rita Road to 280 feet easterly of Santa Rita <br />Road and that said plans had been reviewed by staff; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />this project is necessary to extend planned water <br />facilities from Santa Rita Road easterly far enough to <br />clear the construction area at this intersection for <br />the signalization project which will soon be ready <br />to go to bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City Council at their meeting of March 28, 1977 <br />reviewed the report of the Director of Engineering <br />Services dated March 22, 1977 relating to this project; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the plans and specifications for the <br /> installation of the Valley Avenue Water Main from <br /> Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorizes the calling of bids in the above project. <br /> <br />Section 3.
