CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFO~qIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-120 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on August 20, 1973, the City Council adopted Resolution <br />No. 73-139, establishing a policy regarding the use of <br />septic tanks in the City of Pleasanton; and <br /> <br />the City Council, at their meeting of April 25, 1977, <br />received a report relating to requests for septic tank <br />approval; and <br /> <br />after discussion by Council, it was determined that the <br />Septic Tank Policy should be amended relating to the 1000 <br />foot limitation for separation of septic tanks and Resolu- <br />tion No. 73-139 should be amended accordingly; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Resolution No. 73-139 (Establishment of a Policy Regarding <br /> the use of septic tanks in the City of Pleasanton) is hereby <br /> amended by deleting subparagraph 13, of Section 1, and sub- <br /> stituting therefor a new subparagraph 13, as follows: <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />The following considerations shall be undertaken <br />by staff when requests for septic tank permits <br />are received: <br /> <br />(1) Topography of area, including shape of parcel <br /> and location of wells and similar physical <br /> characteristics; <br />(2) Location of other inhabited structures; <br />(3) Location of other septic tanks; and <br />(4) Percolation rate of soil. <br /> <br />Section 2.
