CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-119 APPROVAL OF FOUR SEPTIC TANK APPLICATIONS FOR CASTLEWOOD ENTERPRISES ON FOOTHILL ROAD AT BERNAL AVENUE WHEREAS, applications have been received from Castlewood Enterprises for approval of three new septic tanks and one replacement septic tank on Foothill Road at Bernal Avenue; and WHEREAS, Castlewood Enterprises proposes to split their 18+ acre parcel of land on the east side of Foothill Road into four parcels, a 3.0+ acre parcel encompassing the exist- ing farm and out buildings and three, 5 acre parcels each of which would be a site for a new single-family home; and WHEREAS, the proposed three new sites would each contain 5 acres thereby conforming to the principal requirement of the adopted septic tank policy; and WHEREAS, the fourth application is for approval to construct a new septic tank to replace the one currently serving the existing farm house; and WHEREAS, by replacing the existing septic tank with one of the modern designs the impact of additional septic tanks in the immediate area will be somewhat reduced; and WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of April 25, 1977, received and reviewed a report dated April 19, 1977, from the Director of Engineering Services, regarding said applications. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the application by Castlewood Enterprises, for four septic tanks on Foothill Road at Bernal Avenue subject to the following conditions: That percolation tests to be performed by Alameda County Health Department indicate acceptable per- colation rates in the areas of the new septic tank leech fields; That the standard septic tank agreement for each parcel be approved by the City Council at this time and be executed prior to issuance of a building permit on the proposed parcels; 3. That the requirements and conditions of the Alameda County Health Department be fully complied with; III
