CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-110 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT OF PLEASANTON'S SHARE OF THE LOCAL COST FOR DESIGN PLANS FOR EX- PANSION OF THE VALLEY COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT PLANT WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton and the Valley Community Services District entered into a settlement agreement of November 8, 1972 together with various intervening developers in order to settle various suits relating to the use of the Valley Community Services District plant; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, pursuant to the terms of paragraph 1 of said agreement, VCSD made application to the state for Step 2 Grant for expansion of its facility; and a portion of the expansion of the Valley Community Services District plant will serve phase-out of the City of Pleasan- ton-Sunol Treatment Plant; and WHEREAS, WHEREAS, Valley Community Services District and the City of Pleasan- ton have been advised by the state that it will be necessary to indicate commitment of the local share funding for the engineering plans to be prepared for said expansion; and the City Council of the City of Pleasanton considered the advancing of City of Pleasanton's proportionate share of the local share cost, approximating $40,000.00, at its meet- ing of April 11, 1977. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: RE- Section Section Section 1. Commits $40,000.00 of the treatment plant phase-out fund for the payment of the City of Pleasanton's proportionate share of the local cost for engineering plans to allow an ex- pansion of the Valley Community Services District plant. 2. The Mayor and Vice-Mayor are authorized to approve the dlspersement of said $40,000.00 as deemed appropriate by the Mayor and Vice-Mayor. 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
