CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-106 A RESOLUTION OVERRULING OBJECTIONS AND PROCEEDING WITH ABATEMENT OF WEEDS, RUBBISH OR REFUSE UPON OR IN FRONT OF CERTAIN DESCRIBED PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON WHICH CONSTITUTE PUBLIC NUISANCES WHEREAS, the City Council at its meeting of March 28, 1977, adopted Resolution No. 77-92 (declaring that weeds, rubbish or re- fuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton constitute public nuisances and that the same shall be abated, and setting a public hearing in re- gard to same); and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 77-92 was adopted pursuant to the pro- visions of Government Code Sections 39501-39588; and WHEREAS, said Resolution designated April 11, 1977, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., at the Pleasanton City Council Chambers, 30 West Angela Street, as the time, date and place to hear and con- sider objections to the abatement and removal of the weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described prop- erties within the City of Pleasanton more particularly set forth in Exhibit A to Resolution No. 77-92. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RE- SOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. On March 28, 1977, the City Council elected to proceed under the provisions of Government Code Sections 39501-39588 and did declare as a public nuisance all weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties with- in the City of Pleasanton as more particularly set forth in Exhibit A to Resolution No. 77-92. Section 2. The City Council fixed April 11, 1977, at the hour of 8:00 P.M., at 30 West Angela Street, as the time, date and place for hearing all objections to the proposal of removal of weeds, rubbish or refuse, and the Fire Prevention Officer was charged with the responsibility to perform the duties im- posed by Government Code Sections 39560-39588, and he did pre- pare notices to destroy weeds and remove rubbish and refuse, and did in the time and manner prescribed by law cause copies Of the notice to be conspicuously posted on or in front of the property where the nuisance exists; the City did mail written notice of the proposed abatement to all person own- ing property described in Resolution No. 77-92 in the time, form and manner prescribed by law. Section 3. The City Council did hold a public hearing on April 11, 1977, and no objections either written or oral to the pro- posed removal of weeds, rubbish and refuse were presented and the hearing was closed on April 11, 1977.
