CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 77-133 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SLURRY SEAL PROJECT FOR CERTAIN CITY STREETS AND AUTHORIZING THE FIELD SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO CALL FOR BIDS. WHEREAS, on January 3, 1977, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 77-4 approving certain specific street projects and also indicating that the remainder of the $150,000 appro- priated for street projects in the 1976-77 Capital Improve- ment Budget could best be used for street maintenance purposes; and WHEREAS, the Council requested that staff report back to them with specific recommendations on how these funds could best be expended for street maintenance; and WHEREAS, the Field Services Department has reviewed this matter and has developed the attached list of streets that are in need of a slurry seal and which they estimated could be done with the $15,300 available; and WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering Services recommends that the City Council allocate $15,300 toward the cost of slurry seal work for the streets shown on the list, attached hereto as Exhibit A, and authorize Field Services Depart- ment to call for bids on this work. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approves the recommendation of the Director of Engineer- ing Services in his report dated May 3, 1977. Section 2. Authorizes the Field Services Department to call for bids on the slurry seal work for the streets shown on the list attached hereto as Exhibit A. Section its passage and adoption. 3.
