The project will set precedents for isolated development <br /> and premature conversion of land to urban uses. <br /> <br />Unfortunately, the Planning Commission did not concur with staff's <br />recommendation that "the applicant be informed that the planned <br />residential development on Pleasanton Ridge is untimely and conse- <br />quently the intent and provisions of the Planned Development could <br />not be met and the public interest would not be served by the con- <br />cept of development depicted in the Preliminary Plan."
