3. The project will set precedents for isolated development <br /> and premature conversion of land to urban uses. <br /> <br />Unfortunately, the Planning Commission did not concur with staff's <br />recommendation that "the applicant be informed that the planned <br />residential development on Pleasanton Ridge is untimely and conse- <br />quently the intent and provisions of the Planned Development could <br />not be met and the public interest would not be served by the con- <br />cept of development depicted in the Preliminary Plan." Although <br />Resolution No. 77-47 approves the development in principle, so <br />many unanswered questions in major a~eas are ~gised by the conditions <br />of approval to justify disapproval of the pro3ect. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton, therefore, appeals to <br />the Board the Alameda County Planning Commission~ approval of PD-39 <br />a]d requests reversal of Resolution No. 77-47. <br /> <br />~ly you~? / . <br /> ~~issemblyman Floyd Mori <br /> Senator John Holmdahl <br /> City Council <br /> George Spiliotopoulos <br /> <br /> <br />
